We’re throwing a Texas-Sized Tumblr Meetup this Wednesday in Austin!
Heading out to SXSW? Come on down to Clive Bar on March 16 anytime from 1:00-6:00pm to meet and hang out with Tumblr friends old and new. Plus, we’re giving away hundreds of T-shirts, thousands of buttons, and a whole mess of stickers. Also: beer!
In other SXSW news, we’re hosting a developer gathering, an industry party, and Tumblr staff will be on-hand during the entire duration of the conference. We’re looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible throughout the week!
Please RSVP here if you plan to drop by the Meetup!
Our new Japanese Tumblr Logo T-shirt is now available through BustedTees! All proceeds will go directly to the International Federation of the Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts by the Japanese Red Cross Society.
Name Ian Andersen
First post November 2009
Location Houston, TXIan Andersen always liked comics, but it wasn’t until he found James Kochalka’s American Elf that he started making his own. “The idea of just doing a strip a day about my own life really blew me away,” he says. Like many other cartoonists before him, he discovered that this daily routine pushed him to improve his ability in both drawing and writing. Ian has posted a daily comic for two years now, attends college, and drinks lots of coffee.
